Wrinkles are a natural manifestation of the aging process, stemming from factors such as diminished collagen and elastin, lifestyle factors, and increased sun exposure. Everyday facial expressions like frowning, squinting, and smiling can accentuate these wrinkles, often appearing sooner than anticipated. Injectables like Botox and Dysport offer transformative solutions to help us achieve a smooth and energized look.
HOW DOES BOTOX WORK?
Botox is a minimally invasive treatment that is quick and seamless with no downtime afterward. It works by blocking signals from the nerves to the muscles, temporarily freezing impulses and allowing the facial muscles to relax. The result? Reduced appearance of fine lines and wrinkles with a smoother, more refreshed look.
As wrinkles often result from repetitive facial movements, using wrinkle reducers can proactively prevent the formation of these lines. Targeting the right muscles relieves creasing in skin, helping to slow wrinkle progression and aid skin structure without altering your natural appearance.
BOTOX VS DYSPORT- WHATS THE DIFFERENCE?
Dysport is very similar to Botox- same price, same duration, but begins to kick in just slightly quicker. Dysport and Botox have the same primary active ingredient. You can receive these injections in just a matter of minutes. The recommended dosage varies by treatment area and person. There are minimal side effects, but you may experience redness, bruising, swelling and of course slight pain from the injection site.
AREAS WE TREAT
We treat a variety of areas to help achieve your desired look. These include the forehead, frown lines, crow's feet, brow lift, jelly roll under the eye, chin, trapezius, or 'trap' tox, underarms, masseters and more. Botox, when personalized, can rejuvenate a complexion by reducing undesirable lines, harmonizing with your facial anatomy to achieve a naturally refreshed appearance. Please schedule a consultation with our medical providers to see what area would be best for you.

HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?
Many assume their lines will be perfectly smooth for 3-4 months. In reality, Botox settles in after 2 weeks, then slowly metabolizes. It is normal to have movement back at 6-8 weeks & most of your movement back by 3-4 months. The more consistently you treat, the smoother your fine lines will be over time as we prevent them.
BEST AGE TO START?
There isn’t one.
While many start preventive treatments in their 20s and 30s, there's no magic age to begin; everyone's anatomy is different. We believe the best time to start treatments is before lines appear or get too deep to begin preventative treatments. If you have lines/wrinkles that bother you and want a smoother complexion, that's when it's best for YOU.
HOW FAR OUT IN ADVANCE SHOULD I SCHEDULE MY BOTOX APPOINTMENT?
We recommend scheduling your Botox appointment 4 weeks before your special event to ensure it has fully settled in by then.
WILL BOTOX MAKE ME LOOK FROZEN?
Botox should not make your face appear frozen or unnatural. The "frozen" look sometimes associated with Botox is often the result of improperly administered injections. Our goal is to provide natural and refreshed results. It's also important to note that Botox results are temporary and typically last for several months, after which muscle movement gradually returns to normal.
CAN YOU GET BOTOX WHILE PREGNANT?
It is recommended by most healthcare providers to wait until after giving birth before seeking such treatment.
IS BOTOX SAFE DURING BREASTFEEDING?
It is uncertain among experts regarding whether Botox passes into breast milk. To prioritize the safety of your baby, we advise not to receive Botox injections while breastfeeding.
